A Great recipe For Homemade Puppy Treats

Dog treats that you buy in your local pet shop are quite expensive, inspecting the whole you get in one package. Not only that, it could comprise preservatives and chemicals, which can be harmful to your dog. If you want to make treats for your puppy without the preservatives, follow these uncomplicated steps to make yummy treats for your furry friend.

Look at your cupboard and check if you have the following available: quick-cooking oats (not instant oats), baking soda, peanut butter, parsley. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F and line your pan with a non-stick baking sheet. Check the ingredients of the peanut butter. You would want something that has the least whole of chemicals. There is even organic peanut butter that has no chemicals at all. In a bowl, concentrate 1 ½ cups of quick-cooking oats and 1 teaspoon of baking soda. Mix together. Chop up some parsley amounting to about two to three tablespoons. Mix it with the oat mixture. Add about ¾ cup of peanut butter and mix thoroughly. You would want to come up with a combination that is not too sticky. If it is, add some more quick-cooking oats. Shape the combination into small circles about the size of your middle finger's nail. Place on the pan, about a centimeter apart. Bake for about 8 to 10 minutes. When it is done, place in a cooling rack and exchange to a cookie jar after about 30 minutes. This method would yield about sixty or more cookies, depending on the size. My two dogs can't get sufficient of them so I had to bake them every week. Try this one out and your puppy will categorically follow you around the house begging for more.
